Industrial 8-channel Gigabit PoE optical transmission unit
Check the exact model, document language and version before installation.
Industrial 8-channel Gigabit PoE optical transmission unit. Ethernet ports: 8 x 10/100/1000Base-T(X) auto-negotiating PoE Ethernet port Optical ports: 1 x 1000Base-X optical port; FC by default; FC/SC/ST optional Operating voltage: DC44~57V
Industrial Gigabit Ethernet PoE optical transmission units combine device connections, power over network cabling and fiber backhaul. Select the model for the device count, fiber conditions and uplink requirements. Check copper and fiber port speeds, interfaces and matching requirements separately.
List the number and interfaces of the network devices to be connected at the site. Check the access ports and allow reasonable room for expansion.
Select fiber ports for the fiber strand count, type, distance and equipment at the other end. Confirm whether fixed fiber ports or pluggable optical modules are required.
Check the per-port capacity, total power budget and input power supply against the devices' PoE type and actual load.
Plan copper connections for the number of devices at each site and check the fiber link to the aggregation point.
Use the available fiber resources to connect site networks in different areas to the aggregation point.
Plan fiber connections between buildings or wiring areas and check the equipment and power conditions at both ends.
